Sapito jungle or Rana Esmeralda is an anuran amphibian of the family Cycloramphidae that is found in Chile and Argentina. Its natural habitats are subantarctic and temperate forests and humid forests, inhabiting marshes and swamps.

Small, no more than 6 cm, brown and emerald mottled skin, feeds on small invertebrates. It is the only native frog that presents / displays a arboreal behavior, being between the reeds of the mats and bushes

During the breeding season it approaches water bodies like lakes or marshes with abundant aquatic vegetation to lay their eggs. The male uses a buccal sac in his throat to perform vocalizations that the females find attractive. When the female chooses a male to squeeze they go to areas where the water is shallow and they mate by placing the eggs that in about 10 days will hatch and the tadpoles will be born.

Lion

Leopard panther

Also known as the King of the Jungle, it is one of the largest cats, measuring between 3 and 3.3 meters in length and usually weighs about 180 kg.

The males are characterized by the powerful mane that dresses their neck and part of the body. It makes the lion look bigger, causing excellent intimidation, which helps in the fighting. The presence, absence, color and size of the mane are associated with genetic conditions, sexual maturity, climate and testosterone production; As a general rule, the darker and denser the mane, the healthier the lion.

Puma Felis concolor It is the largest American feline, is a carnivorous mammal belonging to the family of felids. It lives in all America and its natural environment is the jungle and the rocky areas. In Chile, it is found throughout the Andes. In times before European colonization, the puma was a habitual component of the diverse Chilean ecosystems. The aborigines, although they respected him, were not afraid of him, for the puma, in spite of being an animal of great strength, is very timid, he eschews man and dogs. With the passage of time, the popular belief that it is an animal harmful to domestic livestock, motivated a great persecution against it, thus depleting the populations of this species in Chile. Due to the advance of agricultural crops, livestock and the exploitation of wood in areas where this feline formerly reigned solitary, its living space has been reduced to a minimum.
